Member Benefits

NAGRA brings together agencies that regulate gaming activities and provides them a forum for the mutual exchange of regulatory information and techniques. Collecting and disseminating regulatory and enforcement information, procedures, and experiences from all jurisdictions provides on-going gaming education and training for all members. NAGRA provides a unified voice to speak on legislative matters and strives to develop a standard for legislation and rules concerning gaming activities.

NAGRA sponsors a conference each year to provide members an opportunity to network with other members, hear professional and motivational speakers on topics of interest, and participate in focused breakout sessions on the newest and latest technologies, regulations and information on charitable gaming, casino and electronic gaming, Internet gaming, Indian gaming, and investigatory techniques.

NAGRA offers training courses at some of its conferences. Courses offered have included 'Auditing for Internal Fraud' and 'Financial Statement Fraud' by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, 'Computer Forensics Techniques' by the National White Collar Crime Center and 'Beyond the Hype: Highly Successful Strategic Planning in Regulatory Agencies' by Interwest Consulting.

NAGRA also publishes the NAGRA News, a periodic newsletter, and has a completely redesigned web site that includes all of NAGRA information, documents, reports, membership roster, a bulletin board, Internet resources and links and members-only password-protected chat rooms.
